Summer draws close at the Lake of the Ozarks!

Posted on: April 21st, 2011 by russell No Comments

Spring has sprung and we are drawing closer to the summer season here at the Lake of the Ozarks.  Most of the trees are now green along with most of the grass.  The hummingbirds have returned as well as most of the other migratory birds.

We are gearing up for the summer with two specials; Our Memorial Day special where you can pay for three nights and get the fourth night free and our early June special, pay for five nights and get two nights free!  What a great way to kick off the summer with savings of 25% or more on Memorial Day Weekend and during the first two weeks of June.  Give us a call today for more information at 877-284-0267.

What’s new at the Lake?  Golden Corral is under construction in Osage Beach between Quick Car Care and US Mortgage.  The exterior is close to being completed, so soon we will have a new eatery.  Also Burger King has been closed and demolished to make way for a new Auto Zone store (they are also building one in Camdenton).  The local papers are reporting that the city of Osage Beach has approved the TIF for Dierbergs (upscale grocery store) and that construction will start this year and they plan to open in 2013 (old Wal-Mart location near High Pointe Shopping Center).

Also at the new Eagle’s Landing at the intersection of Lake Ozark/Osage Beach CVSpharmacy has signed a contract with the developer and should complete construction this fall.  In addition the paper reported that Kohl’s and Menards were going to begin building at the site and they should be close to finished by the end of the year.

Finally Maggie Mae’s has reopened in Lake Ozark at its former location after the former restaurant (the one that purchase Maggie Mae’s and changed the name, food, etc.) went out of business.  It is now called Maggie Mae’s II.

We hope to see you soon, have a great day!
