When traveling by car, we’re less than a 6-hour drive from Memphis, TN and Omaha, NE, less than a 5-hour drive from Wichita, KS and Tulsa, OK, and less than a 3-hour drive from Saint Louis and Kansas City. If you’re coming from out West or the Northeast, it’s probably better to come by plane. The closest commercial airport is the Springfield-Branson National Airport. From there, you can rent a car for the 1.5 hour drive to the Lake. Depending on much time you have for travel, and if you’ve never been to Missouri before, you might consider flying into Saint Louis or Kansas City to take in the sights there before hitting the road in your rental car for the Lake of the Ozarks!
